Terms and conditions
This English version is a courtesy translation. The German version is legally binding.
1. Provider and scope
These terms govern the use of Sprachpass, operated by Jordi Bravo, 8, Rue de Stavelot, L-2553 Luxembourg, Luxemburg. Contact: hallo@sprachpass.ch. Sprachpass is an independent practice service and is not affiliated with fide or the SEM.
2. Service
Sprachpass provides digital practice material for the fide-Test: AI-based oral simulations, listening exercises, written modules with correction, a placement test and a study plan. Sprachpass is not a language school, does not issue any official certificate and does not guarantee a specific exam result.
3. Account
An account is created with an e-mail address and a sign-in link. There is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your mailbox secure.
4. Prices and payment
Full access costs CHF 59, charged once, and runs for 6 months from payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews. All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF); the provider is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is shown or charged. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store card data.
5. Digital delivery and right of withdrawal
Access is unlocked immediately after payment. For distance contracts about digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, EU consumer law grants a 14-day right of withdrawal, but that right lapses once performance has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose it. By completing the purchase you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses at that moment. Swiss law provides no general statutory right of withdrawal for this kind of contract.
If you have paid but access has not been unlocked, or if the service cannot be provided for reasons on our side, you get a full refund. Write to hallo@sprachpass.ch.
6. Fair use
Full access includes unlimited practice within fair use: up to 3 complete oral simulations per day. The account is personal and may not be shared.
7. Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Termination
Access ends automatically after 6 months. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the CISG. Place of jurisdiction is Luxemburg, the provider's seat. Mandatory consumer protection rules and mandatory places of jurisdiction — in particular at your place of residence — remain reserved.
